Bob Lenz. History maker.

Def a sweet dude. I think that sometimes it a challenge to listen to someone who you dont know.
you hear what they are saying BUT do you listen?
does it really go thru your head?
does it affect your life?
ask yourself.

BUT im listening to him now and
NOW he's singing about Pizza. a so-called hymn. wierd.
now i dont want pizza.

he's so silly.
now he's just dissing "father abraham."
My FAVORITE kids SONG. . .fail.

BUT i like the fact that he has stories that go with his message. Its crazy how the funniest story can turn into such a serious message. Its not just crazy, its amazing. and Bob Lenz is right, God talks to you thru EVERYTHING whether it be worship, preaching or just someone shedding a light into your life. He has the most amazing stories.

"Joy to the world"? replace joy with your name.
"Paula to the world." awww yeahhh be the change in the world.
Because thats what you are CALLED to do.
CHANGE THE WORLD.

be a generation that GIVES.

woah this was a wake up call
.
- every 7 seconds a child under the age of 5 dies of starvation.
What are You gonna do with that? What am I gonna do with that?
Change it.
1 John 3:16.

RYC 2010

April 15-17. Only the best weekend of my life.
It all started with the Parachute Band. Who would have thought that those guys could bring in about 250 youth and then encourage about 172 youth to come the next day, even when they werent playing. That my friends is inspirational! I even saw people i havent seen in years it was crazy! The next night brought out our very own As One band, and man they were precious. I think that night was by far the most jaw dropping. It makes me cry thinking about it, because for my 'SHAPING OUR DESTINY' one of the things i wrote down, was to see everyone at WF worship and OH MAN did that happen. No hesitation. EVERYONE's hands were up and they were so in awe of God's presence. It was life changing.

Saturday during the morning was a struggle for me though. Day 3 of conference was that morning and i just wasnt feeling like i was getting as much as i thought i should be getting out of conference, so when the 3 hour break rolled around, i brought it up with 3 of my best friends [Letitia Nicky and Chanel] and came to realize and find out that they all felt the same way. So we drove to the church parking Lot and sat in Letitia's car and began to worship to the Parachute Band's CD. Who would've thought that the 4 of us would become a mess and start weeping. The song Mercy came on and i think that was just the breaking point for the 4 of us cuz we listened to it over and over again, not getting tired of it, praying for each other and everyone else. It was def an experience that i will never forget. It brought so much faith in all of us and i knew that the friendship we built there was one that we will never break. That def was something that broke down the spiritual blocks that we were feeling. It was amazing to feel the way we did after that.

Saturday night rolled around and The Revolution Band from CLA came and we worshiped harder than any of us have worshiped before. even without knowing the songs i could just tell that the youth were getting lots out of it. It was amazing to see such young lives worship and long for more of Jesus. IMPACTFUL.

Then after it ended we [our leadership team] began chanting andre's name, knowing that it would be his last time with us. He approached us and we gave him a cake that said "we love you andre!" This was probably the moment in which he started to cry. We did this because it was his last day with all of us so then we all gave him money and wrote in a card for him, and he just couldnt believe that we loved him that much to go out of our way to do something nice for him. It was so awesome to hear him give us advice and stuff after that. He has def challenged me the whole time he's been here and i know he's going to be doing some amazing things wherever he goes.

After that Ryan, Nathan, Yaisa, Letitia, Nicky, Chanel, Paulina, and I hit up the beach and started to worship on the pier. it was truly an awesome experience. I love those kids!

so i give this weekend a 1000000000000000000000/10 =]
